Project Management

Project Management is essential for publicly funded bodies, universities, commercial and ecclesiastical organisations seeking to undertake capital projects.

A Project Management service is often sought due to internal constraints on management time, lack of in house expertise, and the need to remain focused on core activities of the organisation.

The Project Manager takes the lead role as client representative and manages the Design Team to deliver the project within the brief, budget and design criteria set.
Project Management helps to facilitate the following key work stages:
- Concept Design / Feasibility: initial feasibility sketches and support of business case.
- Outline Proposals: drawings and draft specification, programme and cost planning.
- Scheme Design: drawings and general specification and formal planning submission.
- Detailed Design: detailed drawings and specification; cost plan check and formal building warrant submission.
- Production Information: prepare tender documentation, identify procurement route and contract. Cost plan check.
- Tender Activity: tender process and contractor appointment.
- On Site Operations: site monitoring and audit, progress and cost reporting, handover and delivery phase.
